How to do it?

Make two MODSET.xxx files

First MODSET.xxx file

[CPU_ROM_STORE]

Second MODSET.xxx file

[DSP_ROM_STORE]

Copy first file to root of your flash card.

Turn on your camera. Wait before dumping is completed. Turn camera off.

Copy second file to root of your flash card.

Turn on your camera. Wait before dumping is completed.

You'll have two files on flash card now.

Send them to us in archived form ONLY if Pentax have no available firmware for your model. But we are interested in K7 beta and v1.0 firmware images.

Doesn't work on my K10D with 1.30 FW. I've tried SD and SDHC cards, as well formatting the card prior to copying the MODSET.421 file

I have firmware version 1.31 in my Pentax K10D. For reason stated below i want to install firmware 1.10. I tried installing but i could not do it as it is showing an message that the version is an older version. My camera was having 1.10 initially and some days ago i updated it to 1.31. since then autofocus is functioning only in one direction ie. from near to infinity. So i want to revert back to version 1.10. Pl. help me in re-installing version 1.10 over version 1.31. Kindly let me know the procedure. Thanks.
